2010 in Review

In 2010 I...

• turned 40!
• moved into an amazing townhouse (w/ RD) that I love!
• hosted an Oscars party.
• visited Italy (Rome, Naples, & Messina).
• visited Greece (Athens & Rhodes).
• visited Turkey (Kusadari).
• visited Egypt (Cairo & Alexandria).
• visited France (Paris).
• visited the UK (London).
• visited Austin (LJ, PE, CM, KM, & G).
• visited Chicago (MK-n-CY).
• visited Des Moines (CS/IA State Fair).
• visited DC (MC & m' DCBoyz).
• visited the Lake of the Ozarks (mommala, sis-n-nieces).
• visited Los Angeles (Munkey & MJ).
• visited Mountain View, MO (yay Grandma!).
• visited New Orleans (decadent!).
• visited New York (MW).
• visited St. Louis (BC, LB, JS-n-BabyJ).
• camped & floated along the Niangua River (with pride!).
• hosted visits from amazing out-of-town friends (SugarB, JS-BabyJ, MC-n-GT, CS, Mackles-n-Christmas, & Bahpa-n-fam).
• hosted the fam for X-mas eve.
• got & got rid of a new-to-me dog (sorry SusanLucci).
• marked over a full year of daily blogging (then took a break).
• lived and breathed library robot.
• had an overall absolutely positively awesomely unforgettable freaking year!

Today I...

• took Nix to the Vet for a checkup & vaccinations.
• caught up w/ LM over b&g @ Bob Evans.
• returned shelf to Target & underwear to Walmart.
• met w/ dir. of Young Achievers re: partnering on Robot Dance event & toured w/ KC Star photographer for pix of robot addition art.
• swept stairs & cleaned bathrooms.
• enjoyed burritos-n-margs w/ RD & GM-W @ Teocali.

Today I...

• went to the gym before work (elliptical, crunches, pushups).
• met w/ heads of public svc & special collections re: fall programs & marketing
• worked 1/2 day from home.
• made/enjoyed (Rice-a-Roni) fried rice & (frozen) dumplings (aka cheaters chinese).
• bonded over a bombpop w/ (her highness) la Luc.

Today I...

• went to the gym before work (elliptical).
• worked 1/2 day from home.
• got the cold shoulder from la Lucci.
• met w/ UMKC Foundation VP to discuss library case statement.
• grilled, ate, (& shat) hotdogs & baked beans.

Today I...

• bought a teensy-weensy netbook @ Best Buy (tax-free!)
• popped into Pier-One for a peacock chair.
• finally found @ cheapy white-shelf @ Target.
• soaked up some sun @ O&R's.
• soaked up some suds @ Hamburger Mary's.

Today I...

• met the (hot mess) Real Housewives of DC.
• popped into Walmart for a collar, leash, and sundries.
• shelf-shopped (w/ no luck) @ Walmart, BedBath&Beyond, OfficeMax, & WorldMarket.
• indulged @ lunch on Long John Silvers (fish-AND-more oh yeah!)
• adopted SusanLucci from Wayside Waifs & brought her home.
• made tacos & a fresh batch o' guac!

Today I...

• attended Social Media Club of KC breakfast @ KC Cafe.
• delivered liberry's school supply donations to Rockhurst Community Center.
• caught up w/ BH +2 other Ruskin classmates over hh @ Sol Cantina.
• went to MH's bday party w/ JK (better than expected).
