• sent the city council invitations to Baseball, Books, & Beer event (they won't come...)
• gave class presentation on trends in Nonprofic Organizations' Use of the Internet (check).
• caught up w/m' boo SM @ Spin (good food, great company).
• continued to be plagued with the earworm of Lady GaGa's accoustic "Poker Face" (ridonculously addictive).

Today I...

• went to the gym (crunches, elliptical)
• received an invitation to join Pi Alpha Alpha (so I did)
• spent 84 minutes on the phone at work catching up w/ the girl who played Mame in our 1985 school production (a weird, work-related coinkidink)
• went to Margarita's w/ GM & RD (i'm a sucker for 2-for-1 chicken tacos & cheese enchiladas)
• enjoyed the finale & reunion show's of RuPaul's Drag Race (on VH1 cuz I ain't got no Logo)

Today I...

• was SO excited to frickin get outta d' house!
• toured more DELofts, disappointed by what we saw (insert giant game loser show sound)
• toured the GORGEOUS Summit Condominiums and am now considering a move to the West Side
• enjoyed Sunday samples at Costco (today's top taste, & I quote, the "mozzarelli" ravioli)
• spent 2hrs categorizing notes in prep for my big "capstone" paper
• met friends for drinks at Missie's (ssssssssssschmok-y!)

• stayed home & inside ALL DAY LONG (and was BOR-OR-ORED!)
• got caught up on TiVo (3 Dollhouse, 1 Damages, 1 Smallville, 1 Heroes, 1 SuperNanny)
• finished reading book on public policy analysis (last reading assignment of the semester - check!)
• played word games on the computer for 2 hours (tic toc, tic toc)
• checked in (and out) on the Mizzou v. UConn game (wah wah wahhhhh)
• MacGyver'd a batch of kitchen sink cookies, as in "everything but the..." (no brown sugar, sub w/ x-tra white sugar & honey)

Today I...

• went to the gym before work (ellipitcal, crunches, chest)
• met MO Senator Jolie Justus @ her community update meeting @ The Coffee Break (& am now her biggest fan)
• met the newly hired excutive director, Murray Blackwelder, of the newly-formed UMKC Foundation (a man w/ a plan!)
• accepted the 3rd of 3 quotes from Ann Nixon's peeps & met w/ her to pick out paint colors (2 shades o' khaki)
• made a delectible batch of lentl soup
• hunkered down for the "blizzard" (we'll see...)

• watched ALF at 3am (yes, ALF)
• was up making cornbread at 6am
• went to the gym (crunches, elliptical)
• got re-acquainted with Precious Ramostwe in the 9th installment of The No.1 Ladies Detective Agency, "The Miracle of Speedy Motors" (missed you, grrl)
• WON BEST IN CATEGORY & BEST IN SHOW for the 2nd year in a row @ the All Staff Chili Cook-off (BOO-YA!)

• finally heard from Ann Nixon's housepainter w/ an outrageous quote (no thanks).
• went to my first Urban Core Group event as a full-fledged member (informative).
• read 3 chapters on policy evaluation (not as painful as it sounds).
• had popcorn for dinner (with raisons for a touch of sweet).
