- conducted some online banking while catching up with the gang from Pine Valley. (is Greenlee REALLY dead? do I really care?)
- shoveled the snow-covered driveway.
- spent several hours getting my "like new" computer organized and reloaded with iTunes and Tivo Desktop plus. (the essentials)
- went to a wine tasting at a beauty school in Lenexa. (a little bizarre, but fun nonetheless)
- joined a wine of the month club. ($32/month for two bottles, delivery included)
- ate mussels and squid at the Bristol. (unfortunately, not as good as last time)

Today I...
- had a breakfast meeting at Muddy's to support the proprietor and my friend, Oliver
- got a money order to pay my mother-f'n to pay Wyandotte County for the mother-f'n ticket I got, AND DID NOT DESERVE, last Labor Day ("Don't get me started!" he said, shaking his clinched fist in the air.)
- froze my toes off all day in my office (even with my space heater on)
- met Eric & Dustin for drinks at Outa Bounds
- chowed on El Gordito at Manny's (the pork burrito is da bomb!)

Today I...
- ate dried out lasagna and a rock-hard breadstick at The Central Exchange while listening to Ann St. Peter report on the Chamber of Commerce's 2009 Strategic Plan. (key words: innovate & collaborate)
- attended reception 1 of 3 for the Schutte Endowed Professorship at the Bloch School. (exactly as boring as it sounds)
- made plans with the Neeley-Woods for Saturday night.
- checked my Facebook and email accounts no less than 72 times whilst watching the minutes slowly tic by in class. (7-9:45 classes are excruciating)
- dialogued with Scotty 'bout a sticky sidge he's in and needs out of.
- enjoyed my weekly visit with "Kath & Kim" (MollyShannonMollyShannonMollyShannonMollyShannon)

- discovered iGoogle
- bought tix for the remaining three Unicorn shows for the low, low price of $36 (60% off their regular price.)
- went to an Urban Core Group mixer and chatted up a very flaky-skinned former mayor, Dick Berkely
- made & devoured pasta prima vera (penne, stewed tomatoes, cottage cheese)
- *TOP CHEF SPOILER ALERT* cried when Carla f'd up and blew her chances at becoming Top Chef ( was happy with Josea over Stefan though.)

- got out of (my boring ass class) 45 minutes early!!!
- got m' Fat Tuesday on at the Flying Saucer and Howl at the Moon.

Today I...
- drove back from St. Louis, none the worse for wear save a slightly-bruised right knee
- ate indian buffet for lunch (a foreshadowing of Slumdog's Oscars sweep)
- watched the season finale of "The Real Housewives of Organge County" (still not quite over how mean those bee-atches are to Gretchen.)
- had dinner with Chaka Kahn at the Rose Brooks Center Cabaret gala (no offense, CK, but your voice was too big for the venue)
- got home in time to badoop-boop through the Oscars, ff'ing through the slag times and catching up to end "real-time". (enjoyed the Jackman numbers and the five-star presenters - also snaps to Penn for doing the right thing with his acceptance speech.)
